The Piedmont Fencing Crew (PFC) was started by parent volunteers approximately 11 years ago. The PFC’s purpose is to provide more focused coaching in order to enhance Fencers’ skills and to provide coaching support at tournaments.  Peter Ignatov leads our team of fencers. PFC’s practices are focused on strategies, advances footwork and new parries.  The PFC is administered by the Piedmont Recreation Department and an affiliate of the Venturing program of the Piedmont Council Boy Scouts of America (BSA), thus allowing girls and boys of PFC to earn Bronze, Gold and Silver awards similar to the Eagle Scout program of BSA.
